Telesales Account Manager (GLP0092)

Location: London – E15 (11 minutes from Hackney Wick station)
Salary: Up to £22,000 (plus OTE of £38,000, with uncapped commission)

Contract: Full-time

Our client is looking for an experienced Telesales Account Manager to join their team and develop their relationships with existing customers.

As a highly reviewed and respected company, they are looking for candidates that can help to uphold their excellent quality of customer service. This is not a traditional telesales role, as there is no cold-calling involved. Your focus will be on customer retention and cross-selling, using a consultative selling approach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone within a telesales account manager role, or similar, to break away from cold-calling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will continue to work towards and above set targets
  • You’ll maximise average order values by minimising discounts
  • Proactively plan, react and forecast market conditions
  • Manage your own pipeline and ensure no back log of data
  • Focus on customer retention and their satisfaction


  • Experience in an outbound sales team within a B2B call centre environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Package, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of building relationships with customers
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and persuasion/influencing skills
  • Experience within a telesales account manager role
  • Understanding of the mail communications market
  • Use of social selling and forward planning skills
