Service Management Consultant (GLP0084)

Job Summary:

Location: Manchester – M1 (10 minutes’ walk from Manchester Piccadilly)
Salary: £24,000 (plus 26 days holiday)
Industry: Software
Hours: 40 hours with flexibility (3-4 days with clients and 1-2 on administration)
Contract: Full-time

Our client is looking for a Service Management Consultant to join their Manchester team and provide excellent customer service.

This is a truly innovative and growing company. It all began with two students who wanted to make a difference, so created software that improves customer service. They have grown from one small office to ten branches worldwide but have not forgotten their roots of providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate for this role would have prior customer service or consultant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work with a team to provide post sale technical consultancy
  • Working closely with the sales team to assist them with product knowledge
  • Working side-by-side with the customer to optimise their processes
  • Lead projects and develop your talent within a young software company


  • Graduate with a minimum 2:1 level degree (any discipline)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Customer orientated and commercially minded
  • Genuine interest in IT and technology
  • Enjoys working in an international environment
  • Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure
  • Experience in a customer service or consultant role
