Field Sales Business Development Manager (GLP0088)

Location: Manchester – M1 (9 minute walk away from Manchester Victoria)
Salary: Up to £45,000 (plus £20K OTE)
Industry: IT
Contract: Full-time

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and work in the field to increase sales.

As an innovative, value added IT Solution Provider they work across multiple sectors; from education to construction. They are a UK business, which are proud of their North West roots and global reach. Being a trusted partner, which supplies authorised products for projects and managed services – they are highly popular amongst their customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • To achieve and exceed all KPIs and targets
  • Manage and grow existing business accounts
  • Accurate and timely forecasting and pipeline management
  • Quickly react to customer queries and issues
  • Regular face-to-face meetings with partners, end users and prospects

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within an IT business development manager role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Delivery focused and able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of branded vendors such as Cisco, Huawei, ZTE, HP
  • Knowledge and experience of using AutoCad or Visio
  • A formal IT industry qualification such as ITIL
